The municipality of Querétaro, through the Women’s Secretariat, launched a series of free workshops for women on baking.
The first is on pastry, focused on techniques for integrating, creaming, blanching, mixing, beating, and baking cakes. The workshops begin on March 2 at the ICATEQ campus in Félix Osores, where classes will be Monday and Wednesday from 12 to 3 pm; on the same day, they start at the Felipe Carrillo Puerto Community Cultural Center with classes on Mondays and Thursdays from 2 to 7
pm.

The second workshop is on baking, where you will learn the correct use of supplies, products, and utensils to make bread. The classes will be held at the Felipe Carrillo Puerto Community Cultural
Center, starting March 2, Mondays and Thursdays from 4 to 7 pm.
The last day to register is February 20, and you only need to have your INE and proof of address from the municipality of Querétaro at hand; contact 442 824 0757 or visit the Women’s
Empowerment Center.
Remember that these workshops are free of charge and are part of the comprehensive training of the Women’s Secretariat, so they will give you a certificate endorsed by the SEP, but you must also participate in physical activities and psycho-emotional workshops.
