Querétaro is promoted to Mexican leaders

The director of Tourism Promotion of the Querétaro Tourism Secretariat, Rodrigo Ibarra Lozano, headed the state’s participation in the meeting of the 300 most influential leaders in Mexico, strengthening the dissemination of the main tourist destinations, the offer for business tourism and the Art, Cheese and Wine Route.

During the event, organized by the magazine Líderes Mexicanos, the Querétaro stand received the visit of prominent personalities from the world of sports, entertainment, culture, academia, as well as businessmen and opinion leaders.

“Querétaro’s participation in this event has been an important window to show the cultural and gastronomic riches and the great offer that the state has for leisure and business visitors,” he said.

Attendees at the meeting had the opportunity to taste the region’s wines and cheeses and learn a little about the seven Magical Towns in Querétaro: Amealco, Bernal, Cadereyta, Jalpan de Serra, Pinal de Amoles, San Joaquín and Tequisquiapan, where the participation of Viñedo San Juanito and Tierra de Alonso stood out.

It is important to highlight that Querétaro represents the second most important wine-growing region in the country, with an area of ​​more than 500 hectares planted with vines (80% used for wine production) and the production of three and a half million bottles of wine per year, with more than 300 labels.
