The presidents of the 18 municipalities of Querétaro took the oath of office for the period 2024-2027, some only in council sessions and leaving their meeting with citizens for another day, as in the case of Felipe Macías in the capital and Rodrigo Monsalvo in El Marqués, but also others such as Josué Guerrero appeared at mass events from the first day of management.
In Corregidora, Josué David “Chepe” Guerrero Trápala assumed the municipal presidency in the main garden of El Pueblito at 8:00 p.m.

In his speech, he reaffirmed his commitment to security and public services, ensuring that his government will focus on improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of the municipality.
“I will be remembered as the mayor of public works, our hallmark will be the investment in social infrastructure,” said Guerrero Trápala, who thanked the presence of Governor Mauricio Kuri González, as well as the closeness and commitment to the municipalities.
“It allows us to dream big with projects that really improve the quality of life of our people,” he said.
In Querétaro, Felipe Fernando Macías Olvera assumed office in a solemn ceremony held in the first minute of October 1. In his message, he promised to build a more orderly and safe municipality, highlighting his commitment to the citizens.

“With order, justice and opportunities, we are going to build a united municipality without divisions,” he said during his speech. In addition, he announced that his first citizen event would take place on October 5 at the Civic Center at 10:00 a.m.
Among the activities of his first day, he made tours in the Santa Rosa Jáuregui Delegation Center with the purpose of reaffirming with the citizens his commitment to be a street mayor.
In El Marqués, Rodrigo Monsalvo Castelán took the oath as mayor at 00:00 hours, in a ceremony in which he reaffirmed his intention to continue the successful projects that had positioned the municipality as one of the most attractive in the state.
“I am not here to improvise, but to innovate,” said Monsalvo Castelán, who stressed his commitment to take advantage of the areas of opportunity and improve municipal services. His civic event was scheduled for October 2 at 18:00 hours in the Ecocentro exhibitor.
In Amealco de Bonfil, Óscar Pérez Martínez assumed the municipal presidency in a ceremony held in the multipurpose room of the City Hall. He stressed the importance of continuing to strengthen the traditions and economic development of the municipality.

In Pinal de Amoles, María Guadalupe Ramírez Plaza took the oath of office at the municipal kiosk, accompanied by local authorities and residents of the municipality. She emphasized her commitment to improve infrastructure and services in rural communities.
The municipal president of Arroyo Seco, Fernando Sánchez Gil, took the oath of office at the municipal auditorium, where he mentioned that his administration would work to improve the living conditions of the inhabitants, with a special focus on access to basic services and the economic development of the region.
In Cadereyta de Montes, Astrid Ortega took office as municipal president on the esplanade of the presidency and during her message referred to the need to work closely with citizens and strengthen public safety in the municipality.
In Colón, Gaspar Trueba Moncada took the oath of office at a ceremony held in the main square in front of the municipal presidency; he highlighted the importance of allocating resources to public works and social programs.

Iván Reséndiz Ramírez, municipal president of Ezequiel Montes, took office in the main garden. He promised to improve urban and rural infrastructure, as well as to promote local tourism.
In Huimilpan, Jairo Morales Martínez took oath in the civic plaza of the municipality and during his speech, he assured that his government would focus on improving the educational and road infrastructure of the municipality, in addition to guaranteeing access to quality health services.
The mayors of Jalpan de Serra; Tolimán; Landa de Matamoros; Pedro Escobedo; Peñamiller; San Joaquín; San Juan del Río and Tequisquiapan, also carried out their oaths of office where they expressed their intentions to work for the localities they preside over to promote their constant development.
In this way, the 18 municipalities of Querétaro began a new stage with their elected mayors at the helm, who committed to working for the benefit of their respective communities over the next three years.
