Carrera Panamericana arrives on October 15th in Querétaro

More than 70 classic and sports car drivers will participate according to the local Secretariat of Tourism and organizers.

The Pan-American Race will be held in Querétaro on October 15, with the arrival of more than 70 drivers aboard classic and sports cars, as announced by the state Secretary of Tourism, Adriana Vega Vázquez Mellado, and representatives of the organization of this race.

From Mexico City to Querétaro, the members of the Race and Sport & Classic Tour categories will cross Amealco de Bonfil and Huichapan (Hidalgo), where motorsports fans and the general public will be able to enjoy the passage of the cars on the stage of speed.

The caravan will also cross El Pueblito and continue until it reaches the Zenea Garden, in the historic center around 5:30 p.m. for the enjoyment of people and, especially, classic car lovers, who will be able to get close to the vehicles. and pilots.

“For us, it is a great privilege that once again, the Carrera Panamericana will be held in Querétaro; placing ourselves in the interest of all motorsport fans in the country and the rest of the world. It is a magnificent opportunity to continue showcasing the natural, cultural, and historical wealth that we have in our state,”  the tourism secretary concluded.

Eduardo León, honorary president of the Carrera Panamericana, confirmed that this year crews from Germany, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, the United States, France, Sweden, and Mexico, among other countries, will participate; and he highlighted that passing through the capital of Querétaro is a great experience for the drivers.

For 36 years, this competition has been positioned as one of the most important motorsport events, which boosts tourism and promotes the history, culture, and biodiversity of the different destinations that make up the route, with a seven-day race covering more than 3,600 kilometers, with more than 600 kilometers of speed stages.
