The Miztontli Association and the Polytechnic University of Santa Rosa Jauregui have joined forces to offer a course aimed at pet walkers in Querétaro. This course seeks to provide tools and specialized knowledge for those who work in the care and walking of companion animals. The course program will include topics such as animal behavior, training techniques, first aid, legal regulations related to pet care, among others. Participants will have the opportunity to acquire practical and theoretical skills that will allow them to perform more effectively in their role as pet walkers and will also feature national and international speakers. The initiative arises in response to the growing demand for pet walking and care services in the city of Querétaro, as well as the need to professionalize this sector. Both the Miztontli Association and the Polytechnic University of Santa Rosa Jauregui are committed to animal welfare and the training of professionals in the field of pet care. The course will be open to individuals interested in starting a career as pet walkers, as well as those who are already working in this field and wish to improve their skills and knowledge. It is expected that this initiative will contribute to raising the level of quality in pet care services in the Querétaro region. This training is 36 hours long, includes one practical session and five theory sessions, and will take place on Saturdays starting April 20th until May 25th, in a comfortable schedule from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the CECEQ. The recovery cost is $1,500 pesos, registration is still open, space is limited, and it is also being worked on in conjunction with the Municipality of Querétaro.
