State Governor Mauricio Kuri González confirmed that the Mexico-Querétaro-Irapuato rapid passenger train station will be located in the Alcanfores area.
This follows Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum’s confirmation that the station will be built in the central area of the municipality of Querétaro. Regarding this, she explained that this station will be part of the Alcanfores Park, although it has not yet been confirmed whether it will be in the southern or northern area.
Mauricio Kuri González confirmed that the main station for this project will be the one to be built in Los Héroes, in the municipality of El Marqués, which is also considered a passenger and logistics station.
