Methamphetamine drug lab found in Querétaro

Members of the Ministry of National Defense (Sedena) located a clandestine laboratory in the state of Querétaro, which was used for the manufacture of methamphetamines.

According to a statement from the agency, the discovery occurred on September 23 in a hilly area of ​​the town of Los Trigos, on the border between Colón and El Marqués, near the border with Guanajuato.

During the operation, 3,580 liters and 420 kilograms of substances used for drug production were seized, as well as three reactors and five distillers. However, no arrests were made.

“The seized evidence was made available to the competent authorities to determine their legal status and continue the relevant investigations and forensic actions. It should be noted that these activities were carried out in strict adherence to the rule of law and with full respect for human rights, helping to preserve the freedoms, order, and public peace of Querétaro society,” Sedena stated in its statement.
