In 2024, the Querétaro State Police has reached the figure of 100 officers who have received international training from security agencies such as the FBI, DEA and ATF, as well as from various police corporations in the United States. This achievement is the result of the collaboration between the Secretariat of Citizen Security and the Office of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs of the United States Department of State (INL).
The topics addressed in these trainings include high-risk strategic tactical interventions, cybercriminal investigations, attention to gender violence, and the fight against arms and synthetic drug trafficking, as well as the creation of safe communities.
This ongoing training allows police officers to not only develop, but also hone their technical and tactical skills, which contributes to better security in the region.
