Querétaro will participate in the International Tianguis of Magical Towns

The State of Querétaro Tourism Secretariat (SECTUR) will participate in the third edition of the International Tianguis of Magical Towns, to be held from June 28 to 30 in the city of San Antonio, Texas.

The International Tianguis aims to promote the Magical Towns as a tourist alternative in Mexico, which preserve customs, traditions, cultural heritage and tourist attractions of interest to international travelers.

Representatives of the seven Magical Towns are participating from Querétaro: Amealco, Bernal, Cadereyta de Montes, Jalpan de Serra, Pinal de Amoles, Tequisquiapan and San Joaquín.

In addition, personnel from the State Tourism Secretariat are present with the intention of promoting the main tourist attractions, generating business links with North American tourist operators and generating direct sales of crafts.

During the three days of the exhibition, the state of Querétaro has a 27-square-meter stand, where the seven Magical Towns will exhibit their culture and main attractions.

The Querétaro delegation is accompanied by federal and municipal authorities, as well as representatives of production chains of tourism service providers and citizen associations.

The opening ceremony was held on this day, where federal authorities were present, headed by the Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Torruco Marquez, the State Secretary of Tourism, Adriana Vega Vázquez Mellado, and representatives of the 177 Magical Towns of the country.
