This Friday the Tlacote underpass was strategically opened, in a north-south direction, as part of the work on Paseo 5 de Febrero, confirmed the Secretary of Urban Development and Public Works, Fernando González Salinas.
Secretary of Urban Development and Public Works, Fernando González Salinas indicated that this provisional opening is for two out of three lanes and is intended to expedite traffic and continue the works on the laterals.
Fernando González highlighted that this strategic opening in Tlacote is added to the one of the uneven bridges of Zaragoza and the elevated bridge of Avenida Coahuila, in a south to north direction.
He explained that until the work is finished, which is expected to be in December, there will be more strategic openings. He recalled that in general the work on Paseo 5 de Febrero is 68 percent complete.
