Mexico City – The dollar in Mexico today, February 9, fell in the morning session. The Mexican peso was trading at $18.8750 per dollar, a level that represented an appreciation of 0.34% (Mexico City 5:05 am). Later, the Mexican currency extended the early morning gains and appreciated 0.33% to trade at $18.8786 per dollar (Mexico City 8:36 am).
“ The Mexican currency was favored by the inflation report, which confirms the expectation that Banxico will raise its target interest rate by 25 base points.
