The city of Querétaro is one of the most beautiful in Mexico thanks to its historic center being in excellent condition. During the Day of the Dead and previous dates, Querétaro dresses up and joins the celebration.

Every year, a monumental altar is installed in the Plaza de Armas that stands out for its size and attractive colors. The streets of downtown Querétaro are filled with merchants who sell sugar skulls and other handicrafts alluding to the season. Take advantage of the occasion and buy some souvenirs to take home, or try the delights of Queretaro cuisine.
