The Secretary of Mobility for the municipality of Querétaro, Pedro Ángeles Luján, indicated that 14 parking lots at shopping centers in the state capital have obtained legal protection against the requirement to provide two hours of free parking to users.
“There are 14 parking lots with legal protection; they are all linked to shopping centers… In fact, of these 14, 9 offer two hours of free parking, 2 offer one hour, and one offers 15 minutes, according to our records.”
Therefore, there are 2 establishments that do not offer free parking to their customers.
In total, there are 131 public parking lots in the state capital, and 35 of them are linked to shopping centers.
