Querétaro will host the first ‘Tapas of the Americas’ competition

The winner of this competition will have the opportunity to compete in the World Tapas Championship in Valladolid, scheduled for November.

The organizers of the first gastronomic competition ‘Tapas de las Américas’ reported this Wednesday that the state of Querétaro will host the event in collaboration with the prestigious World Tapas Championship ‘Ciudad de Valladolid’ in Spain.

Through a press release, the Valladolid City Council reported that the contest will bring together the fifteen best chefs of the American continent in Querétaro.

The winner of this contest will have the opportunity to compete in the World Tapas Championship in Valladolid, scheduled for November, encouraging cultural exchange between America and Europe.

During the presentation of the event, Adriana Vega Vázquez, Secretary of Tourism of Querétaro, highlighted the relevance of the contest for the international projection of the state.

This contest will help us project the international image of Querétaro, named Ibero-American Capital of Gastronomy of Encounter 2024″, said Vega Vázquez.
