The Querétaro State Police (POES) arrested 19 individuals linked to high-impact crimes in Mexico City, while also rescuing two individuals allegedly held captive inside a warehouse in the San José El Alto neighborhood in Querétaro’s capital.
The operation took place within the warehouse, where the POES apprehended these individuals, some of whom were classified as high-priority targets in the capital. Additionally, two individuals reported missing in Mexico City were freed during the operation. The operation originated from information exchanged with neighboring entities, which alerted authorities to the recent presence of these individuals in Querétaro.
Through collaborative efforts with citizens and strategic actions by the POES Analysis Group, suspicious activity was detected in a warehouse located in the northern part of the city. This led to the arrest of 15 men and 4 women, several of whom had criminal records related to kidnapping, extortion, drug offenses, and robbery.
Furthermore, psychological and emotional support was provided to two individuals, aged 45 and 60, who appeared to have been unlawfully detained. These individuals were reported missing in Mexico City and received assistance from the Victim Support Group within the corporation. Authorities in Mexico City are expected to confirm the identities of at least two of the detainees who were subject to active arrest warrants.
