San Juan del Río projects that, for the Easter holiday season, it will have an economic spill that will reach 50 million pesos, as estimated by the secretary of Economic Development in the municipality, José Francisco Landeras Layseca.
The official also explained that, beforehand, there will be other activities such as the Bajio Beer Fest that will take place from March 22 to 24 and that has the sponsorship of an important brewing company that is based in the municipality; for this event the projected economic spill could reach 3 million pesos.
As far as communities go, in El Carrizo, the inhabitants will develop the Festival of the Dobladita and the Gordita next March 7; in this sense he said that the economic spill will remain, mostly, for the families that prepare the food.
He pointed out that thanks to the promotion of the municipality, in different forums, today San Juan del Río is better positioned and resumes its appointment as Puerta del Bajío.
“Economic activities for tourism in San Juan del Río do not stop and only for Easter we expect to reach 50 million pesos in economic spill, but also, there will be other activities such as the Bajio Beer Fest and the Festival of the Dobladita and the Gordita in El Carrizo”.

Tourist Tianguis that will take place in the city of Acapulco next April 10. As in previous years, the Tierra de Palomas will attend with the contingent of Mexican Cities of World Heritage.
