The 16th edition of the Festival of Foreign Communities arrives in Queretaro

The Municipality of Querétaro, through the Ministry of Tourism, announced the program of the XVI edition of the Festival of Foreign Communities 2024, to be held from February 29 to March 3 at the Querétaro Congress Center, where participation will be from 62 countries from the continents of America, Europe, Asia and Africa, who will share their culture, traditions, folklore, crafts and gastronomy with Queretaro families and visitors.

The participation of 1,200 people from Foreign Communities and more than 55,000 attendees is expected, who will be able to enjoy the cultural diversity of 62 countries distributed in 47 gastronomy and 42 craft stands; There are 20 countries in Europe, 19 in America, 13 in Asia and 10 in Africa.

Amid a fraternal atmosphere among the community of foreign residents in the Zaika Indian restaurant, the Secretary of Tourism, Alejandra Iturbe Rosas indicated that they expect an economic benefit of 55 million pesos. She added that after four years of not taking place, the international parade returns as an event prior to the opening of the Festival, on Sunday, February 25 at the Bicentennial Park with free admission.
