Querétaro is preparing to receive the immersive exhibition “I am Frida” from February 29 at the Manuel Gómez Morin Educational and Cultural Center, announced the heads of the Secretariats of Tourism and Culture of the state, Adriana Vega Vázquez Mellado and Marcela Herbert Pesquera.

This innovative exhibition will allow visitors to explore the life and work of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera through more than 300 images and the latest videomapping technology.

“It is an honor to bring to Querétaro an exhibition of international stature that highlights our rich cultural heritage and projects our state to new horizons,” said Vega.

The exhibition promises a unique sensory experience, virtually touring the iconic works of these emblematic Mexican artists.

Marcela Herbert Pesquera highlighted how technology transforms our connection with art, allowing a deep immersion in the legacy of Kahlo, an artist who with her passion and symbolism, continues to inspire beyond time.

Bernardo Noval, director of “I am Frida”, anticipates the arrival of about 100,000 visitors, with functions scheduled from Tuesday to Sunday. The exhibition not only seeks to exalt Kahlo and Rivera, but also to foster appreciation for the Mexican cultural heritage.
