This Saturday afternoon, a shooting occurred at the well-known “Barbacoa Santiago” restaurant, located in the community of Palmillas, on the Mexico-Querétaro highway, 57, in San Juan del Río, bordering the state of Hidalgo.
The owner of the establishment died in the incident, confirmed the Municipal Public Security Secretariat.
Eyewitnesses reported that the subjects entered the establishment and without saying a word began to shoot at the man who fell instantly.
Afterwards, witnesses reported that the subjects fled aboard a van, and the diners present requested the intervention of emergency forces at the number 911 and minutes later paramedics arrived at the site and a strong security operation was established.
It should be noted that “Barbacoa Santiago”, located on Highway 57, is one of the most visited establishments by those who visit the state of Querétaro.
