Corregidora Municipal Civil Protection personnel rescued a small jaguar, in the vicinity of the subdivision called La Vida.
Omar Lugo Aguilar, head of the unit, mentioned that they worked with the Municipal Public Security Secretariat (SSPM) of Corregidora, to protect the animal.
It is detailed that elements of Public Security and PC responded to the call to find the animal wandering.
“A call is received to the single emergency number, 911, where they report a feline wandering over the green areas of Fraccionamiento La Vida. Units move and become aware of the situation. And indeed, it was a feline of the jaguar species, which was captured by Civil Protection personnel, having coordination through PROFEPA, for its review and protection, “explained the director of Municipal Civil Protection.
The cub remained under the protection of the federal authority and reminded citizens to make emergency reports on the 911 emergency line.
