In September, the Superior Court of Justice (TSJ) of Querétaro will have to change its president for the triennium 2021-2024, a renewal that will have to take place in a plenary session of the TSJ the last week of September.
The current president of the TSJ, José Antonio Cerbón Ortega, took office in September 2018, and according to the law, he is without the possibility of being re-elected for one more consecutive period.
“According to the law, the plenary session for the election of the president is the last week of September, somehow we still have time. I have to summon the magistrates the last week of September and within 13 we have to appoint a new president for three years ”.
José Antonio Cerbón Ortega shared that regarding the process the magistrates are respectful, in addition, that the delivery of infrastructure is still pending, such as the delivery of the Judicial City in San Juan del Río, the process for the transition of labor matters, and the inauguration of a building in the criminal courts and Family Coexistence Center of the Judicial Power of the state of Querétaro.
The Judicial Power of the State of Querétaro, began the vacation period on Monday, July 19, to rejoin on Monday, August 2, 2021. Guards will be kept in the Traditional Penal System, Orality, Execution, and Adolescents with a schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. hours.
The Consignment Offices in Querétaro and San Juan del Río will remain on duty from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
