Jousting, Viking Weddings, Mead, and Wine Await at This Medieval Experience Near Mexico City

If you are planning a summer getaway, mark your calendar because one of the most unique events of the season is coming to Querétaro. The 4th Medieval Festival at Hacienda Tovares will combine an equestrian wine harvest celebration with horseback jousting, knight battles, fire shows, and even Viking weddings in a setting that feels straight out of a fantasy story.

For two days, Hacienda Tovares will be transformed into an authentic medieval kingdom where visitors can enjoy family-friendly activities, themed cuisine, and performances inspired by various cultures of the Middle Ages.

  • Horseback jousting tournaments
  • Knight battles
  • Medieval folk music performances
  • Falconry exhibitions
