In Querétaro, the second phase of the Educational Football Program (EFP) has progressed. This sports training initiative has added 100 new children and young people, who will receive a full year of free training.
With this addition, the program now has 400 participants in the state, following the first phase, which began four months ago with 300 members who train regularly at Alfalfares Park.
The program is promoted by the Real Madrid Foundation, in coordination with its partner in Mexico, True Sports, and with sponsorship from Ciudad Maderas, as well as the collaboration of the State Secretariat of Social Development.
The program combines soccer training with a methodology focused on holistic development, incorporating values such as respect, discipline, effort, and teamwork, as well as activities designed to strengthen social and personal skills.
The sessions are held in the mornings and afternoons at Alfalfares Park, where participants conduct regular training sessions as part of this developmental model.
The Secretary of Social Development, Luis Nava Guerrero; the General Director of True Sports, Elizandra Bonatto; and the Deputy Director of Ciudad Maderas, Perla Mascareño, were present at the launch of this phase.
The Educational Football Program is not a scouting or sports recruitment process, but rather an educational model that uses sports as a tool for the holistic development of children and young people.
