The municipality of Querétaro presented the Decide Querétaro application, a digital tool that seeks to involve citizens in decision-making related to the projects of the Annual Work Plan 2025. The platform, which is available on Android, iOS and WhatsApp systems, allows citizens to give their opinion, decide and propose initiatives focused on improving their neighborhoods. According to Mayor Felifer Macías, this application represents an important step towards greater interaction between authorities and the community.
In its first stage, Decide Querétaro will put 150 viable projects up for consultation, distributed in various delegations of the municipality. These projects must have the validation of citizens to be executed, which reflects the commitment of the municipal administration to transparency and public participation.
Likewise, it was highlighted that 82% of the Querétaro population has access to the Internet, which will facilitate broad participation in this digital process. This initiative seeks to foster a sense of co-responsibility in the planning and execution of public works, aligning them with the needs and priorities of residents.
