Queretaro athletes continue to close 2024 in good shape, now in the discipline of Canoeing where the representative team of our entity had an outstanding performance in the Nuevo León 2024 Regatta, winning a total of 36 medals, which helped the entity to position itself among the best positions at the national level in this sport discipline.
The team that participated in this national competition that took place in Monterrey lands, is made up entirely of canoeists from Jalisco, who came with the firm intention of demonstrating their quality, talent and extraordinary level, facing what will be 2025, especially facing the CONADE National Games, where they will try to be and achieve good results for the entity.
The results obtained in this sporting event were a total of 36 medals, of which 12 were gold, 15 silver and 9 bronze, which helped our entity finish in second place in the national competition in the team modality, a result that left the athletes themselves, their coaches and parents happy, who see reflected all the work and effort they have made throughout the year.
After this result, the authorities of the Institute of Sports and Recreation in the State of Querétaro (INDEREQ), congratulated these athletes from the Sierra Gorda through social networks, reiterating that it is a pride what they have done, as well as a sample of their work and dedication, in addition to reiterating that the delegation was made up of a total of 39 athletes, 4 coaches and a delegate.

Now these outstanding canoeists from our state will take a well-deserved break for the holidays, both Christmas and New Year, to return in the first days of January and continue their training, highlighting that the objective is to once again represent the state in the CONADE National Games and reap a good number of medals, to put the name of Querétaro on high.
