The price of land in Querétaro has had a sustained growth in recent years, which will continue in 2024, although the offer is limited by the topography of the region, said the president of the State Council of Real Estate Professionals, Daniel Cárdenas Vieyra.
“The demand for land remains high due to population growth and the attraction of foreign investments. This high demand is reinforced by a limited supply of land due to the topography of the region,” he said.
In Querétaro there are only 123 affordable homes
He stressed that among the characteristics that have driven the demand for real estate in the state are its strategic location, quality of life and economic dynamism.
“They have made this state position itself as one of the most attractive for real estate investments in Mexico, in 2023, the price of land in Querétaro experienced a sustained increase and this trend is expected to continue in 2024,” he said.
He explained that the real estate sector continues to grow, as it has done in recent years, since it represents 10% of the State’s Gross Domestic Product.
