Influenza deaths increase in Querétaro

So far, the positivity rate in the state of Querétaro has produced 1,148 positive cases.

The Secretary of Health of the state of Querétaro (SESA), announced that deaths from influenza increased, from 10 to 12 deaths in the last epidemiological week.

A 74-year-old woman from Cadereyta de Montes and a 68-year-old woman from Tequisquiapan who unfortunately lost their lives.

Added to these deaths are the deaths of four men, ages 16, 36, 50 and 87 from the state capital, a seven-month-old boy from Cadereyta de Montes, two men aged 82 and a 55-year-old from the municipality of Corregidora, a 66-year-old woman from Amealco de Bonfil and a 72-year-old woman from San Juan del Río.

So far, the positivity rate in the state of Querétaro has produced 1,148 positive cases.

They are 667 women and 481 men, distributed in a range of 20 days to 94 years of age.

Of these, ten domiciled in Amealco de Bonfil, two in Arroyo Seco, 58 in the municipality of Cadereyta de Montes, 17 in Colón, 56 in Corregidora, 32 in El Marqués, 23 in Ezequiel Montes, 5 in Huimilpan, 28 in Jalpan de Serra, 10 in Pedro Escobedo, 3 in Peñamiller, 856 in Querétaro, 3 in San Joaquín, 25 in San Juan del Río, 12 in Tequisquiapan and 8 in Tolimán.

So far, the SESA has applied 589 thousand 601 doses of the influenza vaccine, which means an advance of 92.96% of the scheduled state goal of 634 thousand 242 doses.
